Quality Water Treatment Review
Quality Water Treatment (QWT) is an online water-treatment store, founded in 1990 by Craig Phillips, that sells SoftPro and Fleck softeners plus filters, salt-free conditioners, RV and commercial systems, shipped for DIY or plumber install.

Verdict
QWT is a direct-ship store, not a single product. Its core is SoftPro and Fleck water softeners, with residential, well-water, twin-tank, RV and commercial options priced openly online. It suits buyers who know (or will test) their water, are comfortable installing or hiring their own plumber, and want remote help choosing and setting up a system.
QWT verdict box
A good match for
Homeowners who want a Fleck valve or a SoftPro system from one seller, well owners who need softener-plus-filter packages, and facility managers who want commercial softeners with prices listed online.
Probably not for
Buyers who want a dealer to test, install and service on site; a dealer-sold brand such as Kinetico follows that model. Also anyone who needs to know exactly which brands the paid warranty extension covers, since that list is not published.

How it works
Ordering is online. You choose a product and its options on the listing, such as grain size, filter package, well-pump flow band, or bypass size, and check out. QWT states orders are processed within one day and ship from more than one location; most softener listings are tagged with free shipping.
Before buying, QWT points shoppers to WISDOM, a free analysis tool that it says draws on EPA, CDC, NIH and local utility data to suggest a system and size. City-water users can cross-check it against their annual water quality report. Well owners should still get a lab or strip test, because iron, manganese and pH decide which package you need.
Support after the sale runs through live chat, text, phone and email during weekday business hours, plus install guides and videos on the product pages. QWT describes its team as experienced water treatment consultants who provide product comparisons, water analysis and technical support. On commercial orders, the listing says the QWT team double-checks each order for proper requirements, and financing or leasing is available.
QWT also has a close tie to SoftPro: the two stores share SKUs for SoftPro products, and SoftPro's own ECO Well page carries a video by "Craig the Water Guy from Quality Water Treatment."
Sizing and models
These are the softener lines QWT lists, with entry prices as of October 2026:
| Line | Type and sizes | Price from | Warranty as published |

| Fleck 2510SXT | Well-water softener, 24,000–64,000 grains, fine mesh resin; KDF, pH and iron-filter packages | softener from $1,494.04 | 5-yr valve, 10-yr mineral and brine tanks |

| SoftPro Elite (well) | Metered softener, 32,000–64,000 grains; iron-filter package | $1,327.00 | Limited lifetime on valve and essential components (SoftPro) |
| SoftPro Upflow Dual Tank | 96,000 grains | $2,567.00 | Not published |
| Portable RV softener by SoftPro | 8,000 or 16,000 grains | $267.00 | Limited lifetime on tank and valve |
| Pentair Fleck commercial | 9100 SXT, 9500 SXT, 2900S NXT2, 3900 NXT2 | $1,448.00 | Not published |
| SoftPro Pro Series commercial | 81,000–270,000 grains | $2,180.62 | Not published |
The 2510SXT is the store's main well-water Fleck. QWT rates the basic softener for 3 ppm of clear-water iron and 1 ppm of manganese, and lists softener peak flows from 7 gpm (24,000 grains) to 16 gpm (64,000 grains). Package prices on that listing do not always rise with what's included, so confirm the final price in the cart. See best water softeners for iron for how it ranks.
The 96,000-grain Upflow Dual Tank has almost no published specs beyond its name and price. As a twin-tank design, it should keep soft water flowing while one tank regenerates; see best twin-tank softeners. For a camper, the SoftPro portable leads our RV list.
Price and warranty
Product warranties vary by brand. Fleck systems carry manufacturer terms of 5 years on the valve and 10 on tanks. SoftPro residential systems carry SoftPro's own terms, and QWT's commercial listings publish no system warranty text.
QWT's paid add-on is the Lifetime Warranty Extension for water softeners, $195. Per its text, it covers systems and parts sold directly to the customer (non-transferable) and system tech support. It does not cover labor, or systems and parts not bought from QWT. The remedy is a credit of the original purchase price or repair or replacement at QWT's option, and the customer prepays return freight. Exclusions include wear parts, improper installation, freezing, mis-sizing, chlorine or chloramine above 4 mg/L, pH below 6 or above 9, hydrogen sulfide, and iron, manganese or sand heavy enough to scuff pistons. The text refers to "brands listed below," but no brand list appears, so which products qualify is not published beyond that wording.
The store-wide 6-month money-back guarantee appears on every product page. Our water softener cost guide covers install and running costs on top of the purchase price.

How it compares
Buying a SoftPro through QWT or from SoftPro directly gets the same SKUs; softener-only Elite well prices matched on both stores in October 2026, while iron-bundle prices differed slightly. Our SoftPro Elite review and Fleck 5600SXT review cover the two best-known products QWT sells.
Other ways to buy:
- SpringWell (direct): advertises lifetime coverage and six months to return a system, though returns must be unused, carry a 10% restocking fee if not defective, and installed systems are returnable only if defective. See the SpringWell review.
- US Water Systems (direct): publicly priced commercial softeners up to 600,000-grain single tanks, and a 1-year satisfaction guarantee on residential models.
- Kinetico (dealer): non-electric twin-tank softeners sold through authorized local dealers, with dealer water testing; prices are not published.
